So, here they are!
Both tattoos are incredibly… bleed-y. The sniper sight, especially, is incredibly inflamed as the tender tissue of my wrist was not prepared for a needle jabbing into it. So, both pictures are in greyscale so you guys don’t have to see blood, dried blood, and red skin, okiedokieloki?
The first is the Black Lotus seal from The Blind Banker episode of Sherlock. I went with this not only because I’m a huge Sherlock fan, but also because one of my first passions was Greek Mythology, and to have a Lotus holds a special dual meaning for me. I was going to get it small, on my foot, but instead I opted to move it higher on my ankle, where it would complement the tattoo on my other leg. So, now my legs match. <3
The second tattoo is really, really special to me.
I met pretty much all of my friends because of our roleplaying, and since the beginning of this year, they’ve been sticking by me. I appreciate them.
So, I had a sniper’s sight done as a tattoo.
This sight - okay, so, for one, it’s really warped because of the swelling my skin’s done, and the area around it is really red. I have to admit, out of all the tattoos I have (4, now), this one hurt the most. I’ve never flinched during the inking process, but this damn tattoo… Ugh, it went over sensitive tissue, and there was a lot of blood trails, but it was worth it. I actually asked the girl to freehand it a bit, to give it a handmade look. The tattoo itself is in white ink, so when it heals, it’ll look like a scar.
So, it’ll look like a scar given by, oh, say, a pocketknife?
I hope you guys enjoy. Mwah. I’ll post pictures in about a week, once they heal up!
